L&W CO2 Filter

December 23, 2020

With increasing industrial urbanization and green house gasses, the amount of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere has been rising steadily throughout the decade. As a result the level of CO2 found in the breathing air following a compressor service or periodic air analysis often exceeds that which is permitted under the current EN 12021 (500 ppm)  resulting in a FAIL. Standard filtration will not remove this CO2 as filters are normally employed to remove water and oil vapour and even those with the addition of Hopcalite will only remove CO2 and CO for a short period. The answer to this problem can be found using the new L & W CO2 FILTER UNIT, which when attached to the compressor brings down the levels of CO2 well within the permitted level under EN 12021.
